Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts and reasoning techniques in solving problems that typically can only be solved by an expert in that field. This system is applied using the sms gateway as a liaison expert system. Due to ease a user for a consultation about the disease first-trimester pregnancy.
In this system used method of trace back (backward chaining) as one method of inference in making system design and build an expert system software based sms gateway. Testing this system directly into the application of expert system, then log in by entering your username and password. After that the admin can process the information in the system. To be able to consult a user must first register in advance with the format of REG (space) name of the user. Then the user will receive a reply from the system information in the form of the disease. If the user wants to continue the consultation then it can reply to messages from the system by formatting REG (space) INFO (space) code of disease, for example: INFO REG P05. Then the user will receive detailed information on the disease from a disease that has been selected.
Things that need to be taken by pregnant women during pregnancy is young or the first trimester, because the identification of a disease or disorder of pregnancy at that time will facilitate a midwife to provide treatment, prevention and treatment as early as possible, so as to eliminate the things that are not desired.
