ABSTRAK :
File of text is a file which often and very easy to use for everyting. File of text will be easy read and understand by user and not seldom user of text file like these iy use to extend the file which very important and private. To decrease of effect which emergence from the crevices to information its important one of the way to handle it is using the Cryptographic Algorithm.
808-Y cryptographic aplication is made in order to important file and private can’t be acessed by unauthorized people. File of text or confidential information it will be early encrypted into ciphertext form 8-bit ASCII. Algorithms used making this application is Pythagoras algorithm. File will be change become decimal shape in order to can be entered in calculation algorithm Pythagoras. To make a description of the calculation will be carried out calculations for the reverse of encryption.
This application will be able to do the encryption and descryption, but in experiment which has done could result of descryption less perfect about be using algorithm which has done. File of Chipertext won’t be able to descryption all of it in plantext shape.
