ABSTRAK :
The Sulaiman Air Force Base (Lanud Sulaiman) is a unit under the Air Force
Operational Command I that is responsible for the continuous development and
management of human resources. This responsibility requires the availability of
accurate, complete, and easily accessible personnel data. However, the
management of personnel service records is still largely dependent on manual
physical files, which leads to several problems such as slow data retrieval, risk of
document damage, and inefficiency in presenting information to decision makers.
This study aims to develop a web-based Personnel Life History Information System
(SIRAH) as a centralized database to support the maintenance and management of
military and civil servant personnel at Lanud Sulaiman. The system was developed
using the prototype development method, which involves users directly in the system
design process to ensure that the resulting system meets actual operational needs.
The system utilizes PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database
management system.
The results of this study show that the developed system is able to improve the
effectiveness and efficiency of personnel data management, facilitate faster and
more accurate access to life history records, and reduce dependency on physical
document bundles. Furthermore, the system supports decision-making processes by
providing valid, structured, and real-time personnel information. Therefore, the
SIRAH system can serve as an effective solution for personnel data management
within the military environment, particularly at Lanud Sulaiman.
