ABSTRAK :
The development of information technology has brought numerous benefits across
various aspects of life. One of the most significant advantages is the convenience
experienced by the wider community, particularly through the development of computer
applications. An example is an inventory availability application. Miftah Mesin is a sewing
machine store located in East Jakarta that sells various types of sewing machines and
provides machine repair services. The company faces problems in inventory calculation,
which is still conducted manually, leading to potential data entry errors and stock
mismatches. To resolve this issue, a web-based inventory management application was
developed to assist the admin in processing inventory more quickly, efficiently, and
accurately. This application was built using the PHP programming language and the
Laravel framework to streamline the development process. The system manages incoming
and outgoing goods data and applies the First In First Out (FIFO) method for inventory
recording and calculation. The FIFO method ensures that items received first are the ones
dispatched first, leading to a more organized distribution flow and reducing the risk of
damaged or expired goods.
