In the interest of determining the concentration of Department of Information Engineering, there are many considerations that make students do not understand the interest which the concentration will be selected in accordance with capabilities. So we need a solution to solving the problem in the interest of determining the concentration of the new students will take interest in concentration. In the preparation of this thesis the authors designed an application with the title "DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM WITH CONCENTRATION OF INTEREST DETERMINATION ALGORITHM FUZZY C-MEANS CLUSTERING (CASE STUDY IN THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT INFORMATION STTA)". This system is used to generate student interest in concentrations lower half (4 semesters). In this system there are three (3) criteria: 1 value of digital animation, analysis and system design aircraft designs, as well as three (3) clusters namely Information Systems, Computer Network Design and Animation as a value for the grouping result of this decision support system. Students who have entered the data will be processed by the algorithm Fuzzy C-Means Clustering and will result in the grouping (clusters) are selected. Determination of the cluster seen in the highest value on the new partition matrix and the results of the Decision Support Systems Department of Information Engineering concentration of interest is obtained results grouping into clusters first, because the value of a student named Muhammad Irfan has a new weighting matrix partition (U) is the highest in the cluster 0.9565737683215 first, the results are entered into the Information Systems concentration, nor with the student named Muhammad Rizal with value 0.9628271774759 classified into Information Systems concentration, with a value of 0.973274036472 Cahyo Siddeeq classified konsentasi Information Systems, Nurwahiddatur Rohman with the value 0.93671125535962 classified Information Systems concentration and Fata Fath Deny the value 0.96293741466686 classified Information systems concentration, so it could be concluded that the application of this system can be applied in determining the concentration of student interest in Information Technology.
