At this time a lot of people who visit the library due to the desire to borrow or find books. Each personal library is always supplied with a catalog, which serves as a medium or a place to store the data information in the form of books, book title, publisher, date of publication, description, place, and author. This catalog system will be developed as a way to allow visitors and owners of private libraries, make it easier to find a desired book data without having to search manually on a bookshelf. In the specific implementation, visitors and owners of private libraries only need to enter the title of the book you want to search and press the "search the book" and searches for the book will be done automatically by the system. By using this step, the length of time required to search a book on personal library is expected to be solved quickly. Therefore, made a catalog search application system implemented personal library of books on android smartphone as a mobile catalog. This is where the role of an application system can help administrators and visitors in finding a desired book without the time-consuming to perform data retrieval books through personal mobile library catalog. Searches for books in the catalog that utilizes mobile wifi network with Accespoint media, will very quickly be done if it is still within the scope of the ruag. The application will run smoothly when a search is done individually or with two smartphones only. When searching data is done simultaneously by several smartphone client then the data will only be mncul information on a smartphone client first press the "Search Book".
