Karenabentukstrukturkimianaphthalenesertasifatkearomatisantersebut, makanaphthalenesepertihalnyabenzenemempunyaisifatanti-knocking yang baik.Olehsebabitupenambahannaphthalenepadabensinakanmeningkatkanmutuanti–knockingdaribensintersebut. Untukpengujianpenambahannaphthalenepadabahanbakarpremiumterhadapunjukkerja motor Otto yang dilakukanpadasepeda motor SuzukiSmash 110 cc denganbeberapavariankomposisicampurannaphthaleneadalahsebagaiberikut: 1 literpremiumditambahdengan 2 gram naphthalene, 1 literpremiumditambahdengan 2.5 gramnaphthalene, 1 literpremiumditambahdengan 2.7 gramnaphthalenedan 1 literpremiumditambahdengan 3 gram naphthalene; dengantujuanutamaadalah agar torsidanhorsepower darisepeda motor SuzukiSmash 110 cc dapatdianalisa. Hasilterbaikdaripengujianiniditemukanpadapengujiandengankomposisicampuran 1 literpremiumditambahdengan 2.7 gramnaphthalenedengannilai torsi maksimumadalah 8.0 N.mpadaputaran 7.590 rpmdanhorsepowermaksimumadalah 10.02 HPpadaputaran 3.495 rpm. Makadapatdisimpulkanbahwapadaputaran yang lebihtingginilaitorsi yang dihasilkanadalahsemakinkecildanhorsepowersemakinbesar. Kata kunci :naphthalene,torsi, horse power. Abstract Naphthalene is a substance in the form of a crystalline piece, volatile and sublime and colorless, generally derived from petroleum or coal. Because of the chemical structure of the naphthalene and the nature of the aberration, the naphthalene as well as benzene has good anti-knocking properties. Therefore, the addition of naphthalene to gasoline will improve the quality of anti-knocking of gasoline. For testing the addition of naphthalene to premium fuel for Otto Cycle performance conducted on 110 cc Suzuki motorcycle with several variants composition of naphthalene mixture were.1 liter premium with 2 gram naphthalene, 1 liter premium with 2.5 gram naphthalene, 1 liter premium with 2.7 gram naphthalene and 1 liter premium with 3 gram naphthalene, with the main objective was to make the torque and horsepower of the 110 cc Suzuki motorcycle could be analyzed. The best results of this test was found on the test with a mixed composition of 1 liter premium with 2.7 gram naphthalene with a maximum torque value was 8.0 N.m in rotation 7.590 rpm and maximum horsepower value was 10.02 HP in rotation 3.495 rpm.It could be concluded that at the more round number, the fewer torque and the more horse power generated.
