ABSTRAK :
A wing is a very important part of an airplane because it generates lift to overcome the weight forces. Based on its function, this study was conducted to design a wing for 3 kg Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW).
The writer used comparison plane data as an assumption for preliminary design. It was based on the similar UAV which has approximately similar design data with this UAV. This study only analyzed the empty weight, wing span, wing chord, wing area, aileron chord, aileron span with 3 kg maximum weight.
After designing wing, it was identified that the wing span was 1.65 m, wing chord was 0.20624 m, wing area was 0.3403 m², aileron chord was 0.0357 m and aileron span was 0.825 m. The next, the wings were produced and assemblied on the aircraft and then it was able to fly with 3 kg MTOW.
Keywords: aileron chord, aileron span, wing area, wing chord, wing span.
