ABSTRAK :
On time performance is one aspect that is difficult to reach in Indonesian flight, because of everyday’s crowded flight schedule it can cause the aircraft get holding when will come to landing. Holding is very affect to aviation company for grow up and develop, both in domestic or international airlines because not only wasting time but also can cause a financial lost for fuel cost that the company will pay. Too long holding happen, it will cause more and more financial lost for the aviation company. Cost planning or cost forecast for a flight will increase the total cost that has been planned before by the aviation company that next will cause on increasing the fuel cost too.
The main purpose of this research in my minithesis is to count and analyze how much flight that gets holding in Soekarno Hatta International Airport, and to count the average of fuel consumption cost in Garuda Indonesia aircraft when gets holding in Soekarno Hatta International Airport at 1

December 2016 periods. The location of this reseach is at PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) office. The calculation of financial lost of fuel cost when gets holding is one of the research analysis to know how much additional fuel that will be used and also the cost that must be paid in a flight from Estimated Time Of Arrival(ATA) that has been planned before then total amount of delay in one year period and then calculate how much fuel consumption according to delay periods within time interval from Actual Time Of Arrival(ATA) reducing by Estimated Time Of Arrival(ETA) and the aircraft type that used in flight operation, because every type of the aircraft has the different fuel consumption
According to my research result can be concluded that holding in Soekarno Hatta International Airport is caused by the amazing air traffic crowded. The highest financial lost is suffered by Garuda Indonesia B737-800 aircraft at SUB-CGK flight route in 1st - 31st December 2016 periods with 58 minutes holding duration and Rp. 41.801.240 financial lost
Key Word: ETA, ATA, Holding, Delay Factor.
