ABSTRAK :
Today using of unmanned aircraft to perform a mission such as site survey, mapping, and monitoring. The mission carried out by the autopilot control unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that uses ArduPilot Mega2.6 as controller. One drawback is the lack of its own autopilot system capable of moving the automatic control at the time of the presence of object or objects that become a barrier and also annoying when a plane en route to the destination on the autopilot mode.
For this reason invented an additional system in the drone as a backup system that took over the reins at ArduPilot Mega2.6 when unmanned aircraft faced the obstructions. The system will automatically take over control to avoid the movement of the barrier.
The system is built using the Arduino Mega2560 as the core control and HCSR04 Ultrasonic sensors are used to provide information about the measurement of the distance to an obstacle. Thus quadcopter able to avoid the collision against the object as a barrier.
