PERANCANGAN WIRELESS IMAGE TRANSFER ARDUOINO UNO DENGAN PROTOKOL XBEE

ABSTRAK :
The development of technology to deliver information that is more efficient and practical than the use of the cable by utilizing radio waves in the data transmission process. Bluetooth is a data transmission technology using radio waves with a maximum distance of 10 meters, but the needs of technology users is increasing, the data transmission using radio waves (wireless) with a distance of over 10 meters. So that wireless technology is the solution, because through 2.4 GHz radio waves to send data for more than 10 meters. Wireless technology utilized in the process of sending data HEX form before they are converted into image form. Application on the laptop sends commands to Arduino UNO R3 to take pictures by camera LS-Y201 and transferred via XBee device. XBee-PRO S1 as the media transmitter and receiver working at a frequency of 2.4 GHz to transmit data with a maximum distance of 100 meters in an open area (outdoor). By leveraging the Visual Basic application as a HEX data converter to form an image and displayed on a laptop. From the test results of the system it can be concluded that HEX data can be received in full at a distance of 10-90 meters with a time of transfer 01m.40s.789ms - 01m.44s.176ms. Incomplete data is received at a distance of 100 meters with a time of transfer 01m.44s.605ms. Keywords : Image, wireless, XBee, Arduino UNO R3
