ABSTRAK :
In the choir there is a sound division based by type of human voice. Man voice divided into tenor, baritone, and bass. While the women are divided into soprano, mezzo-soprano and alto. In the process of determining the type of sound, usually performed manually by using a music instrument, generally Piano, by an expert or a vocal coach. Through this application, the grouping of the human voice can be determined using Goertzel algorithm. Goertzel algorithm is used to find the value of the maximum frequency of the voices recording.The quality of sound recordings that fed the application grouping voice on the chorus Gita Space Choir algorithms using Goertzel can affect the outcome of the grouping type sound and sound noise low frequency that come recorded while doing sound recording does not affect the process of grouping voice, except noise which come recorded a higher frequency than the maximum frequency of the sound recording.
